The 2011 third-rounder had his rookie season in, essentially, one game (eight catches for 106 yards against Miami), but he also suffered a torn labrum in his hip that day and was lost for the year. Healthy, he offers the mix of size (6' 2", 209 pounds) and speed (4.43) of a potential topflight receiver. Watch his targets early on to see if Washington uses him as such.

Royal's role in Denver's offense was marginalized after Mike Shanahan left, but San Diego, with whom he signed in the off-season, has bigger plans for him as the team is still looking to replace Darren Sproles's catch-and-run ability. Royal caught 91 passes as a rookie in 2008, and his value will grow if Antonio Gates keeps struggling with injuries. Royal's worth a late flier in PPR leagues.
