MEGAN PINSON

Megan, a junior outside flanker at Fallbrook High, scored a try to help the Warriors defend their USA Rugby Girls High School National Invitational Tournament title with a 54--10 win over Lakewood (Ohio). She was named MVP and finished the season with 29 tries and one conversion kick (147 points). The 2011 Rugby Magazine high school player of the year, Megan is also a member of the national U-20 squad.
ALLEX AUSTIN
SAN MARCOS, TEXAS > TRACK AND FIELD
Allex, a senior at San Marcos High, cleared seven feet in the high jump to win his second straight 5A state title. He celebrated by waving a Baylor baseball cap at the meet to announce his college selection. The son of Olympic and American high jump record holder, Charles Austin, Allex had the highest leap in the nation this season (7'1"), at the Texas Southern Relays in March.
MAGGIE FOBARE
DALLAS > LACROSSE
Maggie, a senior attacker at the Hockaday School, had five goals and one assist to lead the Daisies to the program's third Texas Girls High School Lacrosse League Division 1 state title, in a 19--18 overtime win against defending champion St. John's. She scored 108 goals and added 21 assists this season to graduate with a career 306 goals and 55 assists. Maggie will play at Northwestern next year.
