HALEY CROUSER

GRESHAM, ORE. > TRACK AND FIELD

Haley, a junior at Gresham High, set a high school girls' javelin record with a throw of 181'2" at the Aloha Relays in Beaverton, Ore. The defending 6A titleholder, Haley comes from a throwing family: Her father, Dean, was the 1982 NCAA shot put and discus champion at Oregon; her older brother Sam set the boys' javelin record in 2010; and her cousin Ryan Crouser set the boys' national discus mark last spring.

ZACHARY OLSEN

CORDOVA, TENN. > GOLF

Zachary, a junior at Memphis University School, won the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley in Graniteville, S.C., by three strokes with a seven-under 209. He beat 53 of the world's top juniors for his first international title and rose to No. 11 among 18-and-under U.S. boys. In 2011 he won the Wally Tournament, which features the top 25 junior amateurs in Tennessee, and was the state's junior player of the year.

MEGAN WHITTLE

GLENWOOD, MD. > LACROSSE

Megan, a sophomore attacker at top-ranked McDonogh School (Owings Mills, Md.), scored a game-high seven goals in a 20--9 win over No. 2 Garden City (N.Y.) in the inaugural Maryland--New York Challenge. With the win, McDonogh extended the nation's longest active girls' lacrosse streak (now at 65)—while snapping Garden City's streak at 55. Megan was a 2011 Under Armour Underclassmen All-America.
