his sophomore campaign. Led the team in tackles as a senior, posting 62 tackles/2 interceptions/12 pass breakups. Also forced
two fumbles and blocked one kick. Junior numbers included 56 tackles and nine passes broken up. Broke up 15 passes and intercepted
eight as a sophomore.
Positives: Shutdown cornerback with solid ball skills. Fluid moving in reverse, smooth flipping his hips in transition and plays heads-up football. Effectively reads receivers? eyes and gets his head back around to locate the pass in the air. Instinctive and displays a quick burst to the ball as well as a sense of timing. Positions himself to defend the throw and fights hard to get involved in the action. Gives effort defending the run or stopping screen plays and stays with assignments. Negatives: Slow getting off blocks. Overmatched by large receivers despite his size. Analysis: Norman has been productive and consistent on the small school level, displaying the ability to shut down receivers on a weekly basis. He possesses the skills necessary to be a nickel back in the NFL and should produce as a rookie if he fine-tunes his game. Projection: 4th
