Positives: Quick, explosive defensive lineman who makes plays in all directions of the field. Fires off the snap with a great first step, explodes through the gaps up the field and plays low to the ground. Immediately gets his hands up, fights hard throughout the action and keeps his feet moving up the field. Easily changes direction, fluid if asked to twist or stunt and also displays the ability to hold his ground against blocks.

Negatives: Lacks bulk and gets out-positioned from the action or controlled by a single blocker. Gets rag dolled in the middle of the line if he cannot get the first step on blockers.

Analysis: Daniels showed consistent improvement in his game the past three seasons and is a potential three-technique lineman who will also get consideration as a defensive end in certain 34 alignments.
