Derwin's Star wins Bed o' Roses Handicap |


NEW YORK (AP) - Derwin's Star beat Catch a Thief by 3 1/2 lengths Sunday in the $150,000 Bed o' Roses Handicap for fillies and mares at Belmont Park.
Ramon Dominguez was aboard for trainer Steve Klesaris as the 5-year-old got her eighth win in 17 starts. The time was 1:22.53 for seven furlongs.
Derwin's Star paid $6.90, $4.20 and $2.40. Catch a Thief returned $11.80 and $4, while C C's Pal, the even-money favorite, paid $2.10 to show.
